They are refurbishing the new, permanent Helios Centre in Holborn and need financial support to complete the project and deliver essential services.
Help Build a Permanent Home for the Helios Centre in Holborn
The organisation is creating a new space of healing, optimism, and holistic care for people living with HIV.
They have signed a 20-year lease with Camden Council for a building in central London. The building was in a poor state of repair, and they are undertaking renovations to create an energy-efficient space designed for therapy and wellbeing.
For over 38 years, the Helios Centre has been a vital place of refuge and renewal for people living with HIV. Through holistic therapies, counselling, and community support, it has helped thousands reclaim their wellbeing, rebuild their confidence, and rediscover joy in life.
Now, they have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to complete the refurbishment of a new permanent home for the Helios Centre in Holborn. This beautiful new space will allow them to expand services, welcome more people, and create a lasting foundation for their work for decades to come.
But they cannot do it without help.
Donations will directly support the completion of essential works - from creating therapy rooms and accessible facilities to furnishing communal spaces where people can connect, heal, and feel at home. Every contribution, large or small, brings them closer to opening their doors and ensuring that no one living with HIV has to face isolation, stigma, or despair alone.
They have managed to fund most of the project but need a final boost to complete the works and purchase furniture and equipment. With collective support, they can build a space of compassion and care in the heart of London - a permanent home dedicated to promoting wellbeing.
